Game 3: War Upon Living and Dead
With our new friends The Plague, we had on opportunity to take revenge upon that very powerful band of human scum The Rebelz. In a typically cunning way, I positioned Green Flame as far away from The Rebelz as I could get so that our friends The Plague could suffer torment from powerful humans first, and we could attack them when they become tired and weak.
Untrue that I was surprised when Squad of Darkness undead warband was conjured up in front of us. My seemingly confusing orders to advance and then fall back upon seeing them were merely to practice my 3rd Skaven Rule of Engagement (Maneuver first). We watched as a small detachment of The Rebelz send an ugly "Gap" zombie down to the soil for a longer sleep. By the time we got close enough, all the warbands disbursed, whereupon I took opportunity to teach Green Flame my 9th Skaven Rule of Engagement (Live rather than win), and its irony when fighting undead.
After the battle, Bitters engaged in 6-hour ritual to complete his achievement of the Art of Silent Death, a deadly art of open-handed fighting as taught by the mystics of Cathay in the temples of the Far East. He is deadlier with his bare paws than anyone with daggers. The multiple blows Bitters demonstrated so impressed young Bong Bong, that the night runner swore he too shall rain a hail of blows upon his enemies, and ever since he spends night and day practicing to hit with a flurry of blows.
